Our Goal
Our goal is to recruit and train twenty million young men between roughly the ages of 20 to 40, a good portion of an entire generation, to become committed disciples of Jesus Christ. The goal is not to simply get them to go to church every Sunday morning but rather to have each one of them literally become His Church every minute of every day. The Church of Jesus Christ was never intended to be housed in four walls adorned by a steeple, it was meant to be passed on from one person to another. It was meant to bring honor and glory to the very God that came and died for us.
The Discipulado uses a three-day structured weekend, Friday evening to Sunday afternoon, that isolates our recruits for 43 hours from all the things that distract them every day. By removing them from all the distractions of the world, and by focusing their attention on the things that matter most in this life, the teachings of Jesus, and using the testimonies of the men serving them on the weekend whose lives He’s changed are the catalyst that will fuel the change in theirs. We use the isolation from the things in this life to focus their attention on what’s most important and the role they must choose for themselves. They can either stay on their current path or choose the one that God has chosen for them.
There is no cost for a recruit to attend a Discipulado weekend. The choice is clear, and a new day has come... welcome to the Discipulado.
